Frequency Meter PRO App Reviews

DOES NOT WORK

DO NOT BUY THIS APP! I was trying to determine if the frequency on my keyboard was accurate (I can change the frequency on my keyboard). I’ve done this in the past with other frequency detectors. Even though you can actually HEAR the difference, this app does not register this change. For instance at A=440, the app says 441.39. When my instrument is tuned to A=300, this app says 441.39. Only when I tune to A=190 it changed to 417. So absolutely useless.

Useless

Cannot get repeatable date using a tuning fork. Do not purchase!

Crap

Trying to use it as a pianotuner it is way off in the meqsurements !!!

DO...NO.....BUY......J...U...N...K...

useless

Worst purchase on the planet

Does not work

Absolute piece of garbage

No guidance on how to get it to work. Doesn’t deserve any form of rating.

Terrible

It does not display accurate measurements.

Useless

I wish I read the reviews before I bought this. My own stupidity.

Limited and inaccurate!

It does work as a frequency meter but is somewhat limited. It doesn’t work on frequencies below 150 HZ . I tested it on 150HZ then 120 HZ. It showed a harmonic of 120 HZ. 99 cents would have been a fair price. Especially since it appropriated the fluke meter style to elicit confidence and imply compared results.

Fantastic App

Used this app for my AP Physics lab, worked fantastically

Don't waste your $2.99 like I did

This is a joke. I think it was designed by a 3rd grader. No features at all. I didn't read the reviews before I bought it and sure wish I would have. I never leave reviews but this time it's a must if that tells you anything.

Completely inaccurate

Fancy looking junk

Disappointed

Seems to be inaccurate. Reads a constant 10 hz higher when trying to get an A440 tone from both a MIDI keyboard and an accordion both of which are tuned precisely to exactly 440 hz . Meter reads 430.33, unimpressed and regret not reading previous reviews before spending $3 on this app

Crashes on open!!!!

This does not work in the current version of iOS! Every time I press the go button it crashes!

Junk

No instructions are provided on how to use, making this $2.99 worth of garbage on my iPad.

Not accurate!!

Don't get this. I just played 1k to this app. It is not accurate!!

Only shows certain frequencies

2 problems that make me want my $2.99 back: 1) I can't analyze frequencies without recording a file. 2) The frequency meter actually just shows you which note (A/A#/B/etc.) you are closest to, not the actual frequency of the note you are playing.

Piece of crap

Does not work. Just a piece of "art work." Useless

Crashes

Crashes ever since the update. Cant use it anymore

Ms

I got it for my speech. I had a stroke last year and lost my ability to speak now I'm very monotone I'm hoping this will help.

Crashing at the push of a button

Unfortunately everytime I push a button the app closes... I push record and the app closes. I push play and the app closes... It took three tries to find out the file is saved as a cvs on my ipad... App is deleted.. Would like my money back.

Doesn't work for bass guitar

Wanted to find out what frequency the notes played on my bass were. It just displays random numbers

Problems on iPad

The meter freezes every time I use it.

Junk

Save your money. It locks up after 3-5 seconds and when it does read a freq its off by at least 20 hz

Awful App

Does not work at all! I emailed the company and have not heard back.

Doesn't work

Don't waste your money, doesn't work. 5 star review was probably written by the author of this ripoff app

GARBAGE!

Don't waste your time. Barely works, some buttons don't at all. Crashes frequently. Going for a refund now

Science Project

My daughter and I used this frequency meter for a science project measuring the vibration frequency of guitar strings. At first it seemed that it didn't work at all (as mentioned in a previous review). However, I then realized that we were working in a frequency range that was very likely below the realistic frequency response of the internal iPad microphone (I'm guessing around 100 Hz). When we moved to a smaller string and at higher tensions, the frequency meter locked right in and gave very consistent and reliable results.

Awful app

This is awful. It doesn't work at all. Don't buy it.

Garbage

Don't waste your money. I compared measurement to a quality frequency counter and this app isn't even close. The reading is erratic. Absolutely no documentation or help.
